For starters I did not know which magazine I wanted to do. So I stuck with the basic and more common magazines. I researched some art ones and found one that I liked. I’m leaning more towards the fashion ones though.
This is my own photo edit. I enjoyed editing myself because my face was free of blemishes in the end:) I have kind of always wanted to do this kind of edit on myself just to see the difference. It turns out (I think) that there is a big difference.
I really liked this assignment. I am starting to like the healing brush tool because it makes all the flaws disappear and I think that’s really cool. The only trouble that I had was trying not to get too close to the edges so that her skin won’t look blue.
Cloning my self was really interesting haha. I really like how I could make more of my hair than there actually is since I love my hair long. Instead of making my hair longer in length (I didn’t have room in the picture) I made it have more volume. Like I said before I am really loving the cloning tool 🙂
This was a good practice assignment to introduce the cloning tool. So far I really like it and I think it is one of my favorite tools in Photoshop. I really like how you can clone anything and make it look real.
Ok…So I thought that I would really enjoy this one because I’m all about the entertainment industry, but this project turned out to be harder than I thought. I chose to be in a picture with Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls (one of my favorite shows), so I really wanted to make this look believable. The hardest part was to get the lighting of my picture to match up with the lighting of the original picture. The lighting in the hallways didn’t quite work so I tried outside, which was better. However, the lighting still wasn’t right so I adjusted the brightness of my hair and this was the best that I could do.
